Directions:  From IH35, go east on MLK 1 mile, left on Alexander, left on Real St. The gallery is located on the right just past Arts on Real.  Ample parking is available. The gallery is wheelchair accessible.    The Gallery: Exhibit spaces include a beautiful large main gallery and corridors that extend throughout the entire facility. The gallery will feature several local and/or visiting artists with works in both 2D and 3D. Guests will have opportunites to meet and speak with the artists.

Exhibit Fees and Application Posted May 3 2008 Effective June 1 2008

2D Corridors range $28.78-215.84 month, $6.64-49.81 week.

2D Main Gallery Walls $434.62 week, $1883.35 month

3D Main Gallery Floor Space $320.14 week, $1387.27 month     

All spaces can be booked for one-week term up to six months term, no minimum required. Please ask for a quote for exhibit space needed less than one week. Scroll down to Gallery Application and Exhibit Space Price List.

 

Commissions-None unless otherwise noted.

 

Administrative Fees-5% of all sales processed by the gallery to cover credit card fees, sales tax collection and remittance.

 

Payment-The gallery will accept payment from artists for exhibit fees and from buyers for artworks by Visa/MC, check, or cash for the amount of the artwork plus sales tax. The gallery will then remit payment to the artist for 95% of the sale price. Payments from buyers by check must clear the bank prior to releasing payment to the artist.

 

Returns-If not noted otherwise by the artist, the gallery may offer a 7-day return policy for artwork only with artist’s approval and inspection upon return. The gallery will charge a restocking fee of 10%, maximum $50. Installation and delivery fees are non refundable.

 

Sales Tax-All artwork is taxable. The gallery will collect and remit sales tax to the State of Texas on all sales of artworks processed by the gallery.

 

Artworks may be removed from the exhibit upon purchase. The buyer may carry the work out or make arrangements with the gallery or the artist for delivery and/or installation. The gallery will notify artists of sales promptly.

 

Artworks for loan/lease-Artists may wish to participate in an artwork lease program that the gallery will offer to clients. The works may be leased/loaned for a temporary period to clients with artist’s approval. Details will be posted at a later date.

Installation: Wall text and labels of works will be provided by the artist to meet gallery specifications. The gallery owner will supervise the hanging in collaboration with the artist. 

Insurance:  The gallery provides general liability insurance but does not offer contents coverage for the artworks.  Artists may provide a certificate of insurance and/or sign a waiver. 

Reception Packages: A variety of options can be arranged through the gallery that may include professional caterer, security, insurance, janitorial and management fees. Receptions may be scheduled Friday and Saturday evenings 6-9pm or during gallery hours Saturday 11-6, Sunday 12-5. The gallery will make arrangements to accommodate special requests.

Marketing and Publicity: Announcements for events/artists' talks, exhibits will be sent to local art media. Signage: Artists exhibiting in the main gallery may provide a professionally designed poster size sign for display at the gallery during their exhibit. Bios/Artist Statements may be displayed with the works. Artists may leave their business cards and portfolio at the gallery during their exhibit.
